At the moment, SurfCycled offers 10 models of recycled surfboards, all hand-made with true dedication and commitment. For these boards to come back to life the old fiberglass is carefully peeled, the foam is reshaped, and the new glassing is applied using a waste-minimizing process.
Because there are only so many broken boards, SurfCycled is also involved in an alternative project, making new surfboards out of a unique biodegradable foam made in Costa Rica by Govanm, and laminated using the same waste-minimizing process we use for our recycled boards.
